According to Xconomy, EVEN Financial emerged from stealth mode with $2.8 million in a round led by Canaan Partners, with Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, Conversion Capital, Social Leverage, 555 Capital, and Lerer Hippeau Ventures participating. Individual investors Rob Suber, president of Prosper; and Orchard Platform's Jon Kelfer also backed EVEN.

EVEN Financial is a supply side platform for the fast growing Marketplace Lending (P2P) market, with an initial mission of bringing more and better quality borrowers into the Marketplace Lending ecosystem. We believe strongly that there is a loan product for everyone, and that as Marketplace Lending grows, better data can help lenders see borrowers as more than just their credit score.
