The round was led by First Round Capital with participation from Jay-Z's Roc Nation LLC, Y Combinator, Kapor Capital, 8VC and Adelfos.

Promise is a soon to be released technology platform that provides a cost-effective, more humane alternative to incarceration by extending the capabilities of community supervision, improving long-term outcomes for individuals and communities. Promise extends the scale and effectiveness of community supervision by balancing human touch and technology to improve long-term outcomes.
