Flocasts today announced it has received $8 million in funding from Causeway Media Partners, a leading investment fund focused on sports media, entertainment, and related companies. The latest investment represents continued momentum for the burgeoning sports media property and events company based out of Austin, TX, which continues to focus on changing the way passionate communities connect over the growing sports they love.

Brothers Martin and Mark Floreani along with Madhu Venkatesan founded Flocasts in 2006, to serve fans of sports often ignored by mainstream media. The company is currently focused on four primary verticals - Flotrack, Gymnastike, Flowrestling and the newly launched Floelite. Each of the verticals provides fans with live streaming of the nation's best events, original weekly web series, workouts and original insider doc-series.

Flocasts expects continued aggressive growth in their existing sports as well as to expand into more sports. They expect their audience to exceed 10 million unique visitors per month in 2015.
