NEW YORK, NY, Chief, "a private network of exceptional women," has raised $3 million in seed funding.
Chief, a private network of exceptional women, today announces the close of a $3 million seed round. Led by Primary Venture Capital and Flybridge Capital Partners, investors also include Accel, Box Group, Able Partners, XFactor Ventures, Silas Capital, BBG Ventures, and LearnVest Founder and CEO Alexa Von Tobel.

Chief's mission is to promote and accelerate female leadership, starting at the top. Inspired by the male-dominated executive community YPO, it will provide its vetted community of powerful people personalized programming and meaningful connectivity online and off. Chief will launch with an exemplary group of founding members across business, tech, media, and the arts.

The co-founders of Chief are experienced startup veterans - co-founder and CEO Carolyn Childers was a GM at Amazon and SVP Operations at Handy, and co-founder and CMO Lindsay Kaplan was recently VP at Casper.
