General Compute, a startup building the inference cloud for ultra-fast tokens, has raised $100M in Series A funding, co-led by Blackbird and Abstract, with participation from Fuse Venture Partners, Village Global, and others.
General Compute is building the inference cloud for ultra-fast tokens. We finance, deploy, and operate GPUs and purpose-built inference chips from Cerebras, SambaNova, and Positron AI, matching workloads to the hardware that runs them best. Customers get dedicated bare metal or a guaranteed tokens-per-second SLA without having to procure or manage the infrastructure themselves.
