WESTFORD, MA, Provider of software that automates the migration of physical and virtual servers to the cloud, has raised $5 million in venture capital.
RiverMeadow Software, a provider of software that automates the migration of physical and virtual servers to the cloud, has raised $5 million in venture capital, according to a new filing by the company with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Two separate investors participated in the offering.

RiverMeadow Software, Inc. is a privately held company founded in October, 2009 just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Today, the company has offices on both the east and west coasts, with Engineering and R&D operations concentrated in San Jose, California.

The firm develops software solutions for rapid cloud migration. RiverMeadow products completely automate the process of moving live servers (physical and virtual) into just about any cloud stack, as-is. Unlike competitor solutions, which involve templating, API's, scripting or repurposing tools such as back-up and recovery, the firm's enCloud software service automates the process from start-to-finish, in less time without ever installing agents or taking servers offline.
