Gridtest Systems, the Los Angeles-based cleantech startup that aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles around the world, has reached a major milestone, announcing today that it has raised a seed investment round of funding. LA-based tech angel investors Pasadena Angels and Tech Coast Angels participated.

Highlights of the announcement:

1. Gridtest Systems makes test and measurement tools that enable the big players in the electric vehicle sector (e.g. GE, Siemens, etc.) to accelerate development and commercialization of vehicle charging equipment. There's no question that these manufacturers will be ramping up production of charging systems; Gridtest Systems is poised to capitalize on this growing industry. http://www.gridtest.com/
