NEW YORK, NY, Biotia today announced an oversubscribed $9 million financing.
Biotia, the clinical metagenomics company whose BIOTIA-ID Urine Test identifies the cause of recurrent and complicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) with 97% sensitivity and 99% specificity, today announced an oversubscribed $9 million financing. The test is available to physicians and patients in all 50 states.

Tim Barry and Clive Fields, MD, cofounders of VillageMD, joined other investors in this funding, including Convergent Ventures, DigitalDx Ventures, Cloquet Capital Partners, Continuum Health Ventures, I-Lab Angels, EGB Capital, Leawood Venture Capital, Red Bear Angels, Red Bear Ventures, and others.

Biotia is advancing infectious disease diagnostics for challenging and chronic infections through pathogen genomics and artificial intelligence.
